Businesses
If I had my way in regard to taxes, my desires for the business community would be all but realized. Taxes on business income do not serve anything other than to slow business growth and keep wages down and prices inflated. If we eliminated all income taxes on businesses, we would be the envy of the world. Businesses would have little reason to locate outside of the United States. Businesses from around the world would want to locate within our borders. Businesses would use the savings to expand, pay higher wages, lower consumer prices, or spend in other ways within our economy. The incentive to hide income would longer exist. The incentive to have “creative” tax deductions would be lost. Not only will businesses save the money for taxes that are currently required, they would save money on compliance. They would save money on preparation. Our government would save money on enforcement. But most importantly, the citizen would win.
Some will argue of the lost revenue to the treasury. If I were to accept the notion that the overall tax receipts would be lower, I would say, “Good!” The government already spends too much. However, much like the amount of money to the treasury increased in the 80s during the Reagan tax cuts, and again with the Bush tax cuts, the elimination of this tax altogether will spur growth and job creation to more than offset any “losses” to the government.
I have decided to run for congress after many years of people asking me, "Why don't you run for congress?"
I believe the current Republican leadership has failed Republicans everywhere, but more than that, they have failed Americans.
There is nothing wrong with true Conservative principles. The problem is the lack of actually living up to those principles.
I hope that my one voice in Congress, along with the thousands of voices of support for me, will usher in a new wave of conservative Republicans that will always stand by the principles of the Republican Party. In doing so, our country will have better days ahead than anyone could ever possibly imagine.
